Audioboek op storytel.

Dit verhaal kwam maar heel langzaam op gang, wat ik van deze autheur niet gewoon ben. Het begin duurde eindeloos en werd zo saai, dat ik het op 1/3e gepauzeerd heb en eerst 2 non-fictie luisterboeken tussendoor beluisterd heb. Daarna kwam ik hier pas weer naar terug. Toen greep het mij wel. Als je eens door de eerste 100 pagina's van "verhal opbouw" heen bent geraakt, pikt het verhaal op en wordt het echt spannend!

I doubt I’ll be doing a full review for this one. I enjoyed it enough and there’s always something interesting about horror told from a teen/childlike perspective. This book has a great plot/premise and overall was an okay read. It could’ve definitely been shorter! This is a solid read for those who enjoy a YA thriller and small town lore stories.

Slow moving and more like a teenage horror novel. 
Not very exciting. 
Well written though and the audio version was pleasant to listen to.

I liked it but it just felt like a condensed, PG version of 'It'. Same premise, just more condensed and less graphic.

Even the dead lights came up

. It would honestly be better marketed as a reimagined kids version of 'It'. Also the writing needed a bit of work.
