Beautiful Stories
Grisham never disappoints. He creates complex characters with intriguing stories. His writing has a way of restoring hope in humanity.

Always a good story teller, I’m surprised Grisham isn’t drawing more raves for this one. It’s a little sappy and maybe the narrator is a little too goody-two-shoes but the story telling was good and gripping giving the reader a real vested interest in the outcome. Even had a small tear in my eye at the end. 3.75 stars which may be my highest Grisham rating since The Firm.
Fantastic. Really liked the narrative. So pleased to have discovered John Grisham
I got so tired of the similar plot in each of his books that I gave up about halfway through. He just doesn't surprise me anymore.
I enjoy John Grisham books and have read most of them. I quit reading 2/3 of the way through. I was too confused by all the characters and different convictions and not worth my time trying to finish it. I’m sure it would have all made sense in the end but there were too many tangents in this book. Sorry Mr. Grisham. I tried.
This book was really good and makes you think about all of the innocent people who could be sitting behind bars. I always enjoy Mr. Grisham's work but this one was outstanding.
Interesting book about a small southern law firm called Guardian Ministry, which is an innocence group that takes on only a few cases at a time where justice was adverted.
Cullen Post is the lead investigator who takes the case where the defendant has been imprisoned over 20 years and had a solid alibi that was summarily dismissed and resulted in a quick conviction. Post and his team uncovers a plot to frame the defendant, Quincy Miller, a young black man who had a run in with the deceased, a lawyer who had recently botched his divorce proceedings.

Fantastic book! I have not been that much of a Grisham fan, but I may become one. This novel has wonderful, real characters that come to life on the page, in a story that is riveting and timely. One of the best books I have read this year.
So good! I’ve always been a John Grisham fan since I read The Firm back in 1993. And this story doesn’t disappoint. I listened to the Audible version, and the narrator did an amazing job of telling the story in a way that pulled you in and kept you listening. He really brought this story to life.
Used to be a major Grisham fan years ago. Was disappointed in Camino Island but the subject matter was intriguing for this one ( innocent people on death row). Glad I read it, it was very good and learned a lot about death row and our judicial system ( not good).
