The Girl With a Clock for a Heart provides an interesting mystery thriller. The writing is generally pretty good and Swanson created an average solitary yet intriguing main character in George Foss. I didn’t think the title reference worked especially well but it was definitely worth reading. Swanson is an author worth following. This book is not nearly as good as his “The Kind Worth Killing” although still an entertaining book. Recommended if you enjoyed “The Girl on the Train” or “Gone Girl” from recent years.

This was fine. It started off strong and was heading for a satisfying reveal, I didn’t love the main character but thought there was an interesting setting and a cool dynamic. But then : an OPEN ENDING TO A MYSTERY NOVEL???? Why….

Yeah just a 3 star average read. I personally prefer his novel “Eight perfect murders”.

"¿Cómo era posible que algo resultará tan conocido y al mismo tiempo estuviera tan olvidado?"

I really loved his other book and had high expectations about this one. It wasn't really for me. The story was unique but I disliked the main character so much it was hard to care about the story. He was such a weak, gullible doofus that there wasn't really anything endearing or likeable about the book.

It was interesting but nothing too thrilling. I guessed most of major plot twists before the reveals. A few things in the story were ridiculous and weren't explained properly for me to suspend my disbelief.

George was a gullible male character who mostly thought with is dick and let a girl manipulate him for most of his life.

I've read better from this author, 'The Kind Worth Killing' is my favourite thriller of all time.

Siento que la trama esta buena, pero le falto un poco más. La actitud de Goerge era exasperante pero aun asi Liana fue muy fría y calculadora
