Very interesting book. It was pretty hard to figure out what was going on until the very end, where everything came together nicely. A pretty good example of what happens when a man thinks more below the waist than above, and doesn't seem to learn his lesson even after many, many years.

If I were the protagonist, I would have avoided most everything that happened, since the early days of their relationship was already too strange for me. But I would have already been suspicious when a beautiful woman fell in love with me - that's something that doesn't happen out of the blue, in my life. But this guy gets punched out, threatened with mortal injury or worse, and still doesn't get the idea that perhaps he should forget this woman. But apparently, his life is just so boring that all of this seems like an improvement. But if he had been smarter, we would not have had this story, so I'm glad he was crazy. In the end, he did finally come through with some smart detective work.

I liked this, but it was more of a mystery than a psychological suspense story. It's more following one character, an ordinary guy, as things happen to him and he tries to figure them out. I found this book very boring at the beginning and I found it very hard to get into the story of the book. Some of the characters I hated especially the girl main character. I really started to enjoy the book from half way though as that’s when the action and best storylines of the book happened. It was a okay read in the end. Xx

Mediocre in every way.

Rubbish

The lead character is an utter idiot. It’s very difficult to root for someone so mundane and naive. Bad decision after worse decisions are the complete story arc. The mastermind is just a bit too much cunning. The ending is complete hogwash. This one was a terrible waste of time. I just kept hoping it would get better.

Gave up at 46% just couldn't bear the thought of going on reading! All the characters are hateful and the story is ridiculous.
