There are some interesting parts (about misinformation, albeit short, and stories about dissidents) but overall I found the book to be superficial, very euro-/western-/America-centric, in some parts straight up hypocritical and arrogant towards other countries (the uncritical use of "third world" just to make a quick example) and overall pretty anti-leftist and uncritical towards the US or towards the capitalist, neoliberal and neo-imperial world order promoted by "the West".
