This was an excellent book. I appreciate so much what was shared from Karen's personal experience and growth. I have been challenged and learned a lot about my mouth and my words. She talks about the words we speak to other and the words we speak to ourselves. This is a life changing book and came a just the right time in my life.

I am usually leary about books that quote the bible to prove a point but this subject matter fell in perfectly and tied nicely to the struggles we all go through in saying the right thing. Very interesting read.
My favorite part...
Watch for Blindspots.
Before responding to a situation or speaking first... ask yourself:
1. Is it true?
2. Is my goal to help or sting?
3. Will my comment cause a problem?
4. Would I say the same thing if the subject was with me face-to-face?
5. Would I want the person to say or think the same thing about me?

This was excellent! Ehman is down to earth, uses practical examples, and offers wise insight into ways we can use our words for good.
