This is the final book in the Varsity Dads series and it ended so good!! Couldn't have asked for a better book to end this series with. I loved little Hazel. She stole my heart with how precious she is. Don't even get me started with Nick in dad mode. He will make you swoon. Poor Abby she is accident prone especially when it comes to Nick. When she becomes Hazel's nanny that's when all the fun begins. Abby is the perfect nanny for Hazel because her previous ones were not a match at all. Then the chemistry between Nick and Abby ignites There is plenty of heart and feels that will make your heart melt. Then it delivers on the heat because there is no denying Nick and Abby have chemistry. This is such a good read that I highly recommend. Trust me you are easily going to get lost in this one. Abby and Nick go on a bumpy road because of each of their pasts. We know Abby because of her nasty ex Ezra. Nick is still healing from the loss of his girlfriend. Like I mentioned plenty of heart and feels. I'm excited for the next series by Lex Martin!

Abby and Nick

Such a good book! Abby and Nick stole my heart from page one. I recommend reading it if you are in your single dad era like I am.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

Abby the FMC was frankly pathetic. She was pining after Nick after 0.2 seconds and even though absolutely nothing had happened between them and he hadn't outwardly shown any interest in her she was jealous and getting her feeling hurt seeing other women talk to him. It was ridiculous. I just couldn't with her anymore.

Oh my GOODNESS!

What a devastatingly beautiful love story this was! A perfect mix of sweet, tentative and steamy, with so much emotion, depth and character development.

I loved the interactions between Abby and Nick. I loved how she trusted her instincts and gave him a chance, and how he opened up to her! I caught myself smiling from ear to ear when they were playful, my cheeks hurt when little Hazel appeared on the pages (what a cuttie), and I held my breath when the story took a serious turn.

I completely adored this book and this couple. Secondary characters were delightful! Putting it simply, my emotions ran unhindered as these characters wraped themselves around my heart.

Addictive from start to finish!

I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this book; or more accurately this series! I really don't want this series to end, but if it must, this was the perfect way to end it! Nick and Abby were absolute perfection. I’m so glad Abby got her HEA she deserved it after what Erzra put her through. Both Abby and Nick were new characters to this series and I was so curious about each of them. Abby was finding herself again after her terrible engagement to Ezra, and Nick was a new transfer whose girlfriend died in a car accident leaving him to raise their daughter alone. Nick was the overprotective dad who just needed a reliable nanny to care for his kid so he could play football. Enter Abby… of course she didn’t make the best first impression but she proves to be exactly what Nick needs. I loved their chemistry and how they made each other better. This book has everything I love: enemies to lovers romance, close proximity, a swoony AF footballer, teammates and friends that support each other, and a perfect balance of emotional and steamy moments. Lex knocked it outta the park with this series and I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready to leave Charming and the characters at Lone Star State.
