7/10 Second time reading this. I think I enjoyed it more this time around. Ryan is a sweetheart but I love Tess, she’s a great character, written well.

Occasionally identified with the FMC, and I appreciated both the age gap romance, and many of the themes. However, neither of the main characters were as compelling as any time the original foursome showed up, primarily Ilmari.
It's also overly long, again. Not sure if I'll read the last one, based on the teased premise.
