Always enjoy Michael Crichton, straight in with the action and I'm gripped from start to end.
I liked the writing style more in the second half, I assume that’s where Richard took over. Horrifying book for someone afraid of bugs lol

Great and intense book. I love it.
Mediocre at best. The writing is basic, generic. While the theme is good, the story itself is frustratingly predictable, with stale tropes. I've loved other works by Crichton and by Preston, but this was a chore to get through. Didn't look forward to reading any more of it, so I stopped. Too many better books to read.
