This was an interesting introduction, but not much else. I felt like it was pretty weak for an opener, though I would still continue to read. Granted, Iko has always been one of my least favorite characters, because hello, have I told you I hate comic relief?
Also, this shouldn't really matter, but...I think this should've been illustrated by a female. I know that might sound wrong-whoever is best for the job should do it. But I think Meyer, being a successful female, could find a stunning female representation for illustrating her books and support that most comic book artists aren't female, so to give that credit and chance to one that is. The art here was adequate, but nothing that felt very emotional or passionate to me. Just adequate.

I didn't know how much I needed this until I read it! I loved it. I loved learning more about the characters/world that Meyer built. The art style is unique and makes the characters come alive.

Este libro me ha encantado, está es mi primera novela gráfica y realmente superó mis expectativas.
Me gustó por fin tener a Iko como protagonista y poder ver algunas ilustraciones de mis personajes favoritos en las crónicas lunares. Aunque, definitivamente no se parecen en nada a como me los imaginaba, creo que los únicos que se parecían un poco a mí imaginación eran Iko, Thorne y Scarlet.
Comparado con las crónicas lunares creo que este libro es bastante infantil, pero eso ha sido algo bueno. No era como yo me lo imaginaba, pero me ha gustado mucho.
Es una historia que me hizo pasar un muy buen rato, el humor de Marissa Meyer es inigualable. La historia se me fue muy rápido y no puedo esperar por la segunda parte.

AHHHH! I had no idea they were continuing the Lunar Chronicles and I am SO happy this book exists.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel and it is the first time I read this. I think the reason why I didn't read this book right when it came out was because it is the last book currently out featuring the Lunar Chronicles characters that I haven't read yet. Now that the second one is coming out soon I decided to pick it up. I loved it.
We finally have a book where Iko is the main character and I love Iko. She is definitely one of my favorite characters in the series. I love introductions to each of the characters and I just love Iko in general. I really loved all the characters in this book.
It is interesting to see the events that happened after Winter and what all the characters were up to. The illustrations were really good in my opinion. Overall I would say if you like The Lunar Chronicles this is a great series to read and I do recommend it. If you also are trying to get into graphic novels and you love TLC this is a great place to start since you already know and love the characters.

I actually really liked this! A fun, quick read featuring one of my favorite Lunar Chronicles characters, Iko. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the artwork (I tend to be very picky), but I ended up enjoying it and thought the monochrome blue was unique. Very excited for the next installment!
