What a fun return to the Lunar Chronicles universe. I’ve had this graphic novel for a while but haven’t read it until now, almost as if I knew I was going to need it one day. Gotta get my hands on volume 2 and maybe do a Lunar Chronicles reread while I’m at it.

If you liked the Lunar Chronicles series, you will be entertained by this graphic novel companion about Iko. However, you should definitely read it after the whole series because it contains spoilers for the series.

I found this on a whim at my local library. The cover was what first caught my eye. But the story is what kept me up that night reading it until the very end.
I honestly can't think of a negative thing to say about this book either. Other than I wish I had found it sooner.
I love the dialogue. One of my favorite thing with any novel is characters who banter back and forth. Also characters who tend to be more on the sarcastic side. And this graphic novel did not disappoint in that department, checking both off my list of must haves. The storyline also kept me intrigued, page after page, till the end. Glad I snagged the second novel as well.

Read it and you won't regret it. And if you do . . . Well, are you feeling okay? Haha, but seriously, if you don't, I respect that. To each their own.

I loved this! I am so excited to find there is much more to this story. I can't wait to read the rest!

I had my doubts when I heard that this series would be in the form of graphic novels and would focus on Iko. But I was really wrong to worry, because it was absolutely perfect. If you have read The Lunar Chronicles series at all, then you NEED this graphic novel ASAP. If you haven't, then what in the world are you waiting for?

I loved being back in the Lunar Chronicles world! I will never get tired of these characters. I've missed the crew of the Rampion and am so happy to see them again. not to mention being in Iko's head is the best. she's always been a fave of mine so I'm loving getting her POV. I can't wait for the next! my only gripe is I wish the illustrations were full color. I've been spoiled by other graphic novels I suppose!

Super fun continuation of the Lunar Chronicles! I thought the idea of doing a graphic novel from Iko's POV following the events of the main series was a super fun and clever idea, and it was SO much fun getting to reconnect with the characters. Plus, it's a graphic novel, which makes for a pretty quick read. :D
