This story follows Willow who is a necromancer and is able to see see ghosts of people and send them on the other side of the veil. She meets Kwil, Theodon, and Viktor when they come to her for help since Viktor has been cursed and is in a death like state. She helps them and is able to his spirit back in his body but while doing that her soul merges with theirs and Jonah who they have as a prisoner. Things get freaky some there they are constantly being attacked by monsters and demons who are after Willow and a book the guys had with them that cursed Viktor. There is a confrontation with some other Ghosts and Theodon stabs Willow. Jonah and her go on the run from them and the story ends on a cliff hanger where they catch back up with them and take them hostage.

This is the first book of Salem Cross, that I have read, but let's just say that if all their books are this good.. They have a life long fan.

I loved the fmc, willow, I loved that she was unapologetically herself. I loved the 3 man who kinda fell into her lap. And I absofuckinglutely loved the steamy bits.

I am going to leave this short, otherwise I will spoil it all.

I can't wait for the next book.

This is a ARC review, thank you to thw author for allowing me to read their work, in exchange for a honest review.

This was a great paranormal why choose romance. I love Willow. She's a sassy kick ass heroine. I am interested to find out more about her. I am also interested to find out more about her men, Theodon, Viktor, Kwil, and Jonah.

The book does end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next book to find out what happens next for Willow and her men.

It’s a bit too angst for me, not really something that held my interest for long.

I’m not going to lie I loved this book, even though it took me a hot minute to get through it. I will admit I closed my kindle several times throughout it, also if I wasn’t reading on my kindle I’m sure the book would have been sent flying across the room several times. These characters are so amazing. Willow is fierce and I am looking forward to see what happens next.

I don’t remember exactly how I discovered Salem Cross, but I did fall in love with her writing skills. As well as her ability to draw you into a story, whether it’s about a “human” who has a wolf mate, a master to an incubus & can keep a sci fi human grounded. Or it’s about a bada$$ woman who turns into a dragon & has a hyena shifter as one of her mates? Yup those are all Salems. I was BEYOND excited to read this book and it didn’t disappoint.

Willow our FMC, is a necromancer, who for all intents and purposes? Helps souls cross over, but that’s not really all she does

This book was different than any paranormal romance I’ve read so far. The characters and their abilities/descriptions were beautifully creative. Very good story line. This author leaves enough mystery to have you hooked the whole way through.
