If you read the first book and thought, "I would like the exact same story told in a slightly different setting", then this is a great sequel. If you wanted any character growth look elsewhere because Oraya and Raihn are facing the same challenges in different fonts. But it was fine I suppose.

Dragging, don’t really like any of the characters
adventurous dark emotional tense

This was still fun but it got repetitive within itself and from the first. It was also doing so much to a point I was like ok slow down. Definitely not as strong as the first but I would still read the other duets in the series.

Also Mische and Raihn's relationship. Very Lexi and Stefan coded. Loved it.
