I love Carissa Broadbents writing. This book flows so well. I did wish for more of an emotional moment after the second battle and how it ended, more of a chair really focused on the connection not it seemed like it was glossed over.
Loved the different races coming together. And loved seeing Vincent's memories and getting a little more understanding of him.
Def cried when Oraya met her Goddesses.

4.5 out of 5 stars. I think I was just missing something? I feel like the ending was... lacking something?
"And for fuck's sake princess, I'm begging you, let me go my knees for you."
WHERE CAN I FIND A RAIHN!? Hello?? Pls.
“Let me make you the Queen that you are. Let me guard your body, your soul, your heart. Let me spend the rest of my fucking pathetic life at your mercy. If I need to die, then let me do it by your hand. Please.”
Also, Vincent?
I will not lie to you, little serpent. I was expecting to kill you that night. But what i was not expecting was to love you so devastatingly much.

I found the beginning of this book quite hard to read, with all of the grief and anger, but I really did enjoy hearing from both Oraya and Raihn this time.
The story really got me in the middle and the ending seemed like a satisfying way to end and move on to someone else's story in the next book.
