Henry is an amazing author and truly understands the romcom genre. I love how this book feels like something Gus and January would write together — love with hints of sadness that draw you in.
She creates a reason for Gus to be cold that doesn't make me think he's just an absolute dickhead. I can't wait for the film, it will honestly break me.
January is a strong main character, who defies the usual female protagonist stereotypes (needing a man to save her, not able to take sarcasm, etc), and a raw depiction of a woman in love.

A cute book. Not my favorite romance but I’m still happy I read it.
