I'll think about this book for a long time, especially the character of Cathy. Mozley evinces broken places and broken people with straightforward, unflinching prose.

Nice prose. Some interesting plot points and themes. But overall, cliche and on-the-nose. That ending in the house was like something out of a Tarantino film. Was fun to read, but came out of nowhere and didn't really fit with the rest of the book.
