things i liked:
- the writing itself was decent
- micha was truly an unbothered bad bitch

things i disliked:
- hamilton’s name lmfao
- hamilton got off too easily for years of bullying and basically turning the whole school against her
- hamilton switched it up so suddenly, one moment being all bigoted and the next he was retroactively claiming he did shit for gwen’s own good
- the sex scenes were so boring, no foreplay, literally just intercourse
- the fact that he was still with his technically-girlfriend reagan for like WEEKS after doing physical stuff with gwen. and gwen didn’t even seem that bothered by it besides bringing it up a few times. he waited so fucking long before breaking it off with her
- the fact that he never noticed that heston had orange shoes… he was an obvious suspect for kicking gwen in the face, and he has ORANGE SHOES for fucks sake. who the hell else wears orange shoes?
- gwen’s character arc felt incomplete. i thought this whole forgiveness shit was building up to her giving her bio mom another chance, but there was no mention of it
- the “not like other girls” vibe that was going on. according to hamilton, gwen was just so not like other girls, she’s strong, she’s competitive, she’s not fake like all the other bimbos at this school. ugh. i wasn’t expecting much from this author anyway
- the ending felt rushed, everything just being swept into the epilogue without anything satisfyingly conclusive happening on page

I really wanted to give this more stars. It Has everything I love in it.

But I cannot deal with books that just HAVE to add wokeness for the sake of being woke. I’ll overlook a lot that is considered woke nowadays because this is where we are, but I have my limits

I love a good high school romance with some spice. It reminded me of Draco and Hermione fanfiction. The character development in Hamilton was great. I love how he stood up for what he wanted once he knew what that was.

The spice in the book was good, the main characters relationship was good. The bullying was a though pill to swallow but he wasn’t one of the one’s doing doing the bullying perse. At least that was easier to forgive. I still want to know if Heston had any involvement with the sister.

i vividly remember this being a super cute rivals to lovers romance and it definitely had some amazing themes in here regarding real life topics such as sexuality, diversity & adoption. it was a really good romance. i also love the Fmcs Name

This is vastly different from their other series. I had a lot of frustrations about this book especially when the plot deeply focuses with these two MC's just having sex with each other
I mean it could've been executed better focusing on their differences.
