Forbidden Hearts
Whitlock Family

Corinne Michaels! A taboo, age gap, boss's daughter, nanny romance! What have you done to my heart? I love books that take on a story that is relevant, and weave a romance through it. This book featuring Olivia, a nine year old girl who needs a nanny. Not any nanny, one with special skills. Her mom is going abroad for a job assignment, and Asher her father is on a mission to find someone. Phoebe is home from a college scandal, and she hasn't even put down her suitcase when her father has offered her services. But there is history. As a teen, she was a screw up, and Asher remembers her well. Will she be well suited to Olivia? As good a fit she is for the young girl, it's the effect she has on Asher. There is something about her that intrigues him. Phoebe harbors her secret scandal, and doesn't want it repeated, so she has to stay away with the older man, right? Undeniable chemistry burns between these two. It's spicy and sweet, and the relationship they both have with Olivia is what kept me coming back. This book is in my heart and I love it!

Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum are a fabulous team. Each book they narrate together is a gem. Webber is the conflicted, loving Asher. He plays the father perfectly and easily turns on the charm when it comes to Phoebe. Ketchum lets Phoebe grow during her performance. Starting out confident in her role, but hesitant and hurt, she lets Phoebe be mature as the story goes on. I always enjoy these two and this book is no exception.

Sunshine

This story hooked me right away and I couldn’t put it down! It’s witty, charming, and grumpy with a couple twists I didn’t expect.
