I was reaaaaal getting into this until about 80% in. Blah
Cute romance
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
I definitely enjoyed reading this one and it was quick. I wanted just a little more pining and angst though. I feel like the love was super instant and based mostly on lust alone. There was sparks but just barely. The twist was super weird but ended up working out anyways. I did find the ASL super interesting and I loved how Phoebe and Olivia bonded. She’s a cute kid. Overall a decent read.

Cute book, easy read and enjoyable plot. Nothing that hasn’t done before and I feel like the pregnancy by the other guy was not necessary. Still a cute book!
I am usually not a small town romance girl but I really enjoyed this one! It was cute, funny, spicy, and full of drama. I haven’t read this author before but I would happily read another one of her books!
I really loved the characters in this book, main and minor, and the dynamic of everyone in the town was so adorable. Phoebe was so funny and very relatable. Asher was surprisingly filthy and the only thing I loved more than the heat he brought to the story was the love he had for his daughter and his family.
I was also quite surprised with the drama the end of the book brought. The last 30% or so had multiple twists that I didn’t see coming!
If you love a sweet grumpy/sunshine or nanny/single dad story, then you’ll definitely love this one! I look forward to reading the rest of the series in the future!

I love starting a new series with new characters to get to know and love. This is book 1 in Corinne Michaels’ Whitlock Family. This book focuses on Phoebe who has returned home early to Sugarloaf and Asher is a cop with a deaf daughter who desperately needs a nanny after the one arranged skipped out.
This was a great read, with characters you adore. I’m
Looking forward to reading more books in the series
