Just wasn’t for me. The chemistry between MMC and FMC just felt lacklustre and the plot just wasn’t working for me.

This book was phenomenal. I don't give 5 stars out often, but I loved it!!! I have seen Corinne Michaels books talked about on Book Tok/ Instagram reels and decided to indulge because her story lines aligned with books I typically read. I loved Asher as a standalone character, Single Dads are my usual go to. I am a sucker for a single dad story! Pheobe reminded me of myself and stupid mistakes I made as a younger version of myself.
I loved the small-town setting. I thought the book was well written, great depth, there was not a single word skimmed or skipped because I was hooked from the first one.

I will definitely read more from Corrine Michaels and will continue to suggest her to my other reader Friends.

I devoured this book so fast. I love me some good single dad x nanny, grumpy sunshine book! and sprinkle it with enemies to lovers AND forced proximity? now that's a cherry on top!

i adored the deaf rep in this book and the ASL

This was absolutely ridiculous and I loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for the comfort of a small-town romance, but the drama of an old-fashioned soap opera, this is the book for you.

While overly dramatic, Forbidden Hearts is also a very sweet book. Phoebe has a lot of relationship trauma to work through, and Asher is incredibly sweet and supportive of Phoebe throughout the entire book.

Good to know: Deaf representation and ASL use, TW for grooming (not from LI), POTENTIAL SPOILER: This book has the pregnancy trope.

Oh that was good. Really really good. I wish the story continued. I don't really know what to say except GO READ IT.

A fun read. I loved the small town in this book. I really enjoyed the banter between the two leads. This book definitely brought me out of a slump. The steam was piping hot. I also liked the link to Melanie Harlow and Cloverleigh Farms. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Cute & Sweet.

I enjoyed Forbidden Hearts but honestly, I enjoy all of what Corinne publishes!
