The only reason this isn't getting a 4 star read is how nothing happened to the jerk that hurt both Brynne and Phoebe. No consequences. He gets off scot free. I know that's reality, but this is fiction and in fiction, the bad guys should lose. Should be ostracized. So that really bothered me. However, the rest of the book was amazing. I adore Asher and Phoebe. They worked so well together. Phoebe is so smart and amazing and wonderful. Her dreams changed but she's living life her way! And that is so admirable. Asher supports her every step of the way. I love how much support she has.

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

the only flowers i’ll give this book is it is a trope used and replicated hundreds of times and i like the it wasn’t completely cliche
emotional inspiring fast-paced

I loved this book so much. The advocacy for special needs children was so amazingly well done. The characters were very relatable and i loved it

the last 30% was uncalled for

a few cheesy and cringey moments, but the big reveal towards the end just sent it over the edge. how did she just give up on school to keep a married man’s baby after stressing out for most of the book about getting settled into a new program?? especially after seeing the mmc’s daughter’s experiences and low access to care in their town.
