First 70% was fine, last 30% was just no for me

Eh. Writing felt sloppy at times/not thought through and was cringy in parts. A little too basic for my flavor pallet. That being said I still sped through it because I had to know the ending that’s why it’s 2 stars and not 1. Definitely skimmed some parts as it was too much of the same thing over and over. Only read this for a Bookclub and def didn’t feel intrigued enough to read the other books. Never felt the love story, only the listing after each other. Idk how or why they fell in love… just seemed like they really liked sleeping with each other. No depth in the romance. No development. No growth. Would not recommend

DNF @54. To be honest I wasn’t really feeling grumpy x sunshine vibes, maybe somewhat grumpy but that was it. Also, I feel like ‘forbidden’ was a strong word because it wasn’t really giving that. It just stopped holding my interest.

First rule of being a nanny? Don’t fall for the single dad, even if he is smoking hot. Y’all this read was a wild ride and I was here for it!

I had to DNF this one, sooo slow and boring, I was already halfway into it but nothing happened, the spicy scenes felt very awkward and the characters very empty.
medium-paced

Omggg I was genuinely not sure where some of the twists were going to go which is saying a lot since I read a lot of contemp romance. Asher was everything!!!!! I love him

I was so disappointed. It seemed like we were reminded every couple of pages that he was grumpy/she was sunshiny, she was the nanny, and he worked for her dad. It was repeated so often, it was actually distracting. I also wasn't a fan of the dialogue; there were parts where it felt very stilted and overly formal.

My favorite part of the book was the Cloverleigh Farms (Melanie Harlow) crossover.
