When I first came across this book I was completely intrigued by the title alone. Four engagement rings? Ok you got me interested now, and while I stared listening to the book then I became hooked. I just absolutely love a good se one chance romance and when it’s done so well even better. I was so surprised at how much I truly loved and enjoyed this book. I felt very connected to the story and the characters and was completely rooting for them the whole time. I was laughing out loud and got a bit emotional at times and that’s truly what I want from a book. I want the book to engage me and for it to completely suck me in. I want to be completely invested in the character development and the progression of the story throughout the whole book and I do feel this one delivered and checked all those boxes for me. There also was a bit of the miscommunication trope in this book which I typically don’t like in books but the way it was done in this book was not at all bothersome or unenjoyable. I loved the narrator of the book as well I felt she truly delivered Sybil story and did it so well. I highly recommended this book and look forward to see what else this author has in store for us in the future.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for the advance listeners copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was…fine. Biggest highlight was the Easter egg/nods to HB’s personal history as the bachelorette. Nothing about it really grabbed me and honestly it felt like there was very little nuance or originality behind it. But the story was fine and it’s a guaranteed happy ending. If you’re looking for a book that’ll let you turn your brain off while you’re sitting on the beach, this’ll do ya.
