I hated this book so much that someone is bound to enjoy it. That said, in my opinion:
1. The main character was a vapid, self-absorbed, woman-hater masquerading as a feminist.
2. The main love interest is a profoundly uninteresting Sherlock Holmes rip-off.
3. The solution to the mystery was telegraphed so broadly that it would have been better disguised if it was an elephant in a woman's dress walking down the street at noon.

I loved this book, I love a good thriller and mystery novels and this was all of that and some more. I can not wait to read the second one in the series.
Also if you’ve read the Montague siblings trilogy by Mackenzie Lee I highly recommend this book. Aubrey gives of felicity vibes and I love it or vis versa.
The writing style was flawless, the book I ate it up. so if you love murder mystery sort of stuff or real life events with a spin pick this up.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! It had my attention from the very first page. It is mind blowingly good. You think you have who Jack is figured out and nope. She sends you through another loop. I never pictured who ended up being Jack was Jack! 💯 Mind blown.
