It was amazing how modern the book read to me, this is a story that could happen in any time period. It is clear why Austen set the standard and formula for romantic comedies for the next 300 years.

Thought I would read this because how Netflix apparently butchered this masterpiece. And boy, were the reviewers right. What a beautiful and very slow burning novel with a gentle, kind character.
