Overall it was very entertaining and funny. The ship (the talk of the ship's creation was especially fascinating) and the aliens are very interesting, however, I felt the human characters were a bit flat. The only human character I liked was Nettie. Lucy was especially reprehensible -gaslighting her boyfriend, cheating on him, alluding that Nettie wasn't intelligent and insulting her. The relationships felt a bit forced too, but despite its flaws I would read it again but I liked the writing style and it was very witty.
