I really loved this. It was a quick read with good banter, a believable story, and people with real problems. I'm glad to see this writing duo back with another knockout.
3.5 stars
Struggling with this review a little because it dealt with really important, complicated issues, and it’s was so great to see the inclusion of chronic nerve pain through Carey’s dystonia. I also loved watching the drama of the Tripps unfold

A quick read! Love that Christina Lauren always finds a way to convey very real, very complex dynamics, this time with chosen/work family, and they always do so sensitively.
Let's get this out of the way: I am utterly convinced that Christina Lauren play by a "one for you, one for me" system, in which they alternate coming up with the basic premise of their books. And whichever one of them likes the melodrama disappoints me every time, while the one who likes the real fun and the comedy in your romcom makes me absolutely giddy. And The Honey-Don't List, thank God, is the latter.
I really loved this - the banter, the playfulness, the shade towards the HGTV reality show complex, the romance, the HOT AF love scenes. (Having read the Beautiful books and the Wild Nights series MULTIPLE times, I can attest that Christina Lauren can write some damn fine borderline erotica; it's nice now that they've gone more mainstream to see that they can still write a sex scene without it being fade to black - Jasmine Guillory - or super smutty - Tessa Bailey.)
Huge fan of this book. Can't wait to sell the MFing crap out of it.

I love the love stories of Cristina Lauren. This one about assistants on a couple/home improvement show was a fun, easy summer read!
Dual narration was great, easy to listen audio
this was so much fun! I’m surprised it got as many bad reviews as it did
You ever start a book when you can’t sleep at 5 AM and then by the time you have to stop to go to work, you find you’re 34% through it? Talk about a fast read.
This was a perfect Quarantine Life read. I’ll always read anything they write and this was a perfectly good, sweet HEA romance. Pretty typical.

Not sure why this book got so much hate because I absolutely enjoyed it! The beginning really hooked me in and I could not stop wondering what had happened for the police to be involved. I LOVED Carey and James, and their whole relationship - banter included. They’re not quite enemies but they don’t run in the same circle either, and Carey ‘knows’ that James thinks himself better than her because she’s an assistant and he’s an engineer. Even though she’s WAY MORE than an assistant. I loved following the Tripps as well - sad to see what can happen to a marriage when you completely immerse yourself in work and don’t spend time with your spouse.
