I have been thinking about listening to this audiobook for a while, but I had a few other books ahead of this series that I wanted to get through first. I am glad I finally decided to listen to it.

The book in general was interesting and I did not want to stop listening to it when I had to do my normal daily activities. I loved Eden and Trent. Despite being so different they also worked so well for one another.

The audio of this was also really good! Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum were interesting to listen to.

BOY OH BOY I AM OBSESSED!! this book had laughs, sweetness, plot, drama, smut and I CRIED!!! all happy tears tbh πŸ₯Ή i was never lost or bored, i devoured this so fast and i still can’t stop thinking about it. this is one of my first single sad romances and i now need to read more because THIS?! i loved it.

the relationships that blossomed out of pure coincidence were amazing. eden is so sweet, so generous and i just want to give her the biggest hug πŸ₯Ή she’s a teacher for her dads school, she’s doing all she can to help her dad get out of some money trouble where she ends up meeting mr. trent lawson and little gage. after finding out her student, gage is the son of her new boss at a club?! WHAT DOES SHE DO? falls in love with both of them 😭 through ups and downs, denial, rejection, him feeling he’s going to taint and ruin her… they come out the other side, figuring everything out as it comes and begin to build their own happiness πŸ₯Ή the ending was absolutely beautiful, i cried. i cried real tears. wait let me rephrase that, i SOBBBBBBBED!!! i just know the rest of this series is going to be so good i cannot wait!!!

This is my first book by A.L. Jackson and while it started out a little slow, it quickly became such an intriguing read that I didn’t want to stop listening because I had to know what was going to happen.

Eden is the teacher of Trent’s son. Eden is sweet and innocent but also carrying a lot of weight on her shoulders. Trent is the bad boy who has been through a lot of terrible things in his life. Things started off rough between them but they end up with a growing attraction for each other. I loved that Trent wanted to be worthy of Eden.

The ending blew me away, so much was revealed that changed so much of the story. It was jaw dropping and completely unexpected.

Connor Craid did an amazing job with this story. His voice is just so wonderful to listen to. Desiree also did a good job but her kid voice was a little annoying. It turned Gage into a character that I couldn’t stand.

Give Me a Reason has total SOA vibes. The whole time I was reading I kept thinking β€˜this is Jax’s alternate ending’
