Wow - just wow. A.L. Jackson combines a high intensity storyline and throws in unbelievably lovable characters and intertwines them in such a way you will never see some of the plots coming until they slap you in the face. Trent Lawson has demons from his past that have made his life a living hell, but it is not until Eden Murphy comes into his club looking for a job that his future is rearranged and he will never be the same again. Filled with emotions, angst and so many twists and turns the reader will become dizzy, this was the perfect way to start off a new series. I cannot wait for more!!

the story line was super intriguing, and the suspense was really well done! the mmc, however, drove me NUTS. the man didn't ever start a fucking sentence!!! it's like he jumped right into the middle of one every time omg if i was eden id be like "nope start over" and it would never work. i do love when the mmc is only soft for his girl and his kid though. interesting plot twist and def kept me engaged!

Y’all are some troopers. I DNF @ 20%. As others have said, I like romance and all the tropes that go with it. However, the writing style of this book was annoying. Clipped, incomplete sentence and verbose wording pulled me out of the story from the first few pages.
Give This Book All the Stars!
Holy mother of everything deliciously angst and emotion! Oh A.L. Jackson knows just what to do hit in me the feels hard. I loved every single minute of Trent and Eden’s story. Trent was all broody goodiness and there was no denying how hard you’d fall for him once he opened his heart. I wanted to give this man everything same as Eden. Sweet Eden instantly captures your heart because she bleeds this luminous magnetism that draws you to her. She also possesses a quiet strength. On page, there was every reason these two shouldn’t be together, but fate had other plans. Gage was absolutely adorable and instantly stole the show every time. That little boy with his sweet innocence and wholesome goodness made my heart melt. Give Me A Reason was such a beautiful heartfelt romance filled with emotion, passion and twists that made for an unputdownable read. Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum truly made those emotions leap from page straight to your heart with their stellar performance.

Eden and Trent's story, she needs money to help her father, she finds one where she meets Trent and things start to get interesting. I really enjoyed the story, their chemistry is fire, I liked some of the twists in the story but at times it felt that it was a bit slow and dragging, but this bad boy will have you reading it without a doubt. Their pasts come out to play, their spark will have you fanning yourself and the story will keep you entertained. Can't wait for the other Lawson brother's stories.

This was an intense read but I really enjoyed it! I absolutely loved Gage
Trent and Eden, two complete opposites who find themselves wrapped in this tug war of staying away yet craving each other attraction. When Eden shows up at Trent’s club refusing to leave until she gets the interview she was promised, he knew she didn’t belong, but he loved the fierceness and innocence of his “kitten”. Trent thinks his past defines him, makes him a monster that doesn’t deserve any good in this world so he keeps his distance as much as he can from Eden yet there is something about her that keeps drawing him back in. The push and pull between them is so tangible you can feel it in your bones while reading it. Eden is all that is good in this world, she loves hard, works hard, and believes in forgiveness and redemption where Trent thinks his demons will always haunt him, so he doesn’t deserve her. I don’t want to give too much away because this story is unique and epic in its own way. I loved the brothers, everything they worked hard for, the love they had, and the way they always had each other’s backs. At times the descriptions on some pages were repetitive or too much that I had to go back and make sure I was reading what I thought that it became distracting at times but once I got to it, I was fine. There is so many feelings in this story that I loved and kept me on the edge waiting for the shoe to drop and when it did, I surprised by some things yet guessed the others. Overall, this was a great start to a series I know I am going to love and can’t wait to see what is in store for us next.
Gritty, emotional and so powerful, this story is one you won't want to miss! Trent and Eden gripped my heart so tight and gave me all the feels. Five stars for this must read that leaves me eagerly awaiting more of the Redemption Hill series!
