Story 1: Even considering there must be more communication aside from what we see, the timeline moves way too fast for me to believe someone would go to those lengths.

first story: everything happens way too fast and overall the story is anticlimactic. the characters were flat and the dialogue is not at all how people spoke to each other over IM
second story: basically every question is has an em-dash before the question mark even when the question is fully formulated. how did that get by an editor? an “and she was actually dead the whole time dundundun” story
third story: could’ve gotten into it, sort of absurdist, but again the writing style just didn’t do it for me
overall, felt like someone’s vent writing, which is fine, but should have been polished for publication

It was fine. The horror/shock element did not bother me, but it was not that I would read this book again. I don't remember much details anymore, but one question: How can someone crucify themselves? Like you need at least one hand free to nail yourself to the cross, which means that not all limbs can be crucified because you can't nail the hand that you are holding hammer in. Yet it was made sound like it was the case.
