This wasn't bad per se... It just felt like After fanfiction. And we really didn't need a full book. Hardin's backstory was interesting but we already new most of it. The parts we know from Tessa's point of view were boring and repetitive. And the ending was brilliant but it could have been an epilogue of After Ever Happy. Not bad but not necessary...

I HATED this book. This is the first book of this year that I just couldn't finish, I skimmed over most of it. It's basically the first book all over again and as much as I liked the first book I didn't need to see Hardin's point of view because it didn't really add anything. There's a couple of extra bits about the other characters but nothing of importance.
Another thing that bothered me is how inaccurate Anna's writing is when writing English characters. It's something I noticed in the other books with Hardin but I thought perhaps where he'd lived in America for a while he'd picked up the language.
However, when Natalie has her part in the book she uses phrases such as "parking lot" and other American terms that we don't use in England. It's a really simple problem but it bothered me so much.
So yeah in short I didn't like this at all.

No.

Lo único que me gustó de este libro fue conocer más sobre otros personajes de la saga.

this 5th book was so boring and i really didn't need all those different povs floating around. in conclusion, i want a refund for the brain cells i have lost from reading this series.

Sinking back into this world was like falling asleep. Anna Todd’s work isn’t necessarily complex to read, but it glides in the way it reads. I remember really empathizing with Tessa through the After series, and feeling understood by her thoughts. It was really interesting seeing Hardin’s perspective, and although it did make me really hate his younger self even more at times for how disgusting he could be, I also got insight to just how truly traumatized he was as a child and teen. It was also very interesting getting a look into a few others characters minds and lives who lived on the fringes of this series, but felt important nonetheless.
