I'm not a big fan of Agatha Christie but I picked this one up for a challenge I am doing. I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the dialogue, which was cool for it's era, but increasingly irritating to read, I enjoyed the mystery and the interaction among the characters. So, all in all, enjoyable but not one I would continue on with the series.

I loved this book, I had it pretty well figured out fairly early on, which is actually a pretty unique experience for me with an Agatha Christie novel, but I still enjoyed it immensely, especially Tommy and Tuppence, I just want to go out and read the rest of the Tommy and Tuppence mysteries because they were such a beautiful pairing.

Lots of first times in this book.
1. The first ever Tommy & Tuppence book that I read.
2. The first ever book in which I suspected who the villain is rightly.
A very interesting and tantalizing mystery/thriller nonetheless!

A very entertaining book, different from all the others I read from Agatha Christie. It's a spy story more than a detective book, so there's a lot of action and the main characters aren't experts, but they're so adorable I could see them in a hollywood movie.

The first in the Tommy and Tuppence mystery series. Two friends decide to form an "adventurers club," and find themselves caught up in a race to save the British government from disaster. Tommy and Tuppence are delightful characters, and the identity of the criminal keeps you guessing right up until the end. Fans of Christie will love this series.
