I really didn’t enjoy the main character at all. There’s only so many times you can call yourself unhinged or note your pulsing jaw… 😅
A good thriller that had me changing my guesses the further I read. We written and a quick read.

I didn't particularly like any of the characters. The main character really seems to loathe Seymour but he doesn't seem to be doing too badly in the book compared to the others. Like, he had an affair but so what? Nadine did too (this is all revealed in like the first few chapters so don't worry it's not a *spoiler*). Some of these people were truly awful.
Also, it all just feels a little too unbelievable that all the events happened in one day. I get it's a constraint Stuart gave herself. It just doesn't really add anything though.

Topic of the story is nice but too much back and forth in the delivery. I almost felt dizzy. The MC, while in a situation jumps to different times in a split seconds. She is constantly in this panic mode over preparing for a party no one forced her to do. What’s the big deal? She hates almost everyone or has some suspicion—that doesn’t go nowhere.

This story is told over the course of one day. Broken up in three parts; morning, afternoon and evening, this thriller is one I could not put down.
There is so much I didn’t see coming, so many things I thought I knew but didn’t.
