The ending felt super rushed. I felt like the pacing of the book was off. It had many twists and turns but I think it would have benefited from story refinement. A lot of unnecessary plot twists that I don’t think added much as they weren’t rounded out properly.

Rici and Olivia

Prepare for a stressful read! But so worth it. Another great one from Swan.

Olivia is on a trip to Italy when her eyes connect with the most gorgeous man she has ever seen. When she opens the menu, the gentleman walks over and offers to translate for her. She is completely a relationship person and doesn’t sleep around but after a fun evening, she is rethinking her morals. But she stands strong and sends him on his way. But they spend a few days together and she breaks her rules. She is completely smitten with her Italian man. But her days are numbered as she leaves to continue her vaca. But they plans to meet back up, in which she is excited for.

Enrico is a very powerful man and can have just about anything or anyone he wants. But he is taken with the Australian tourist and can’t stop thinking about her. When she leaves, they make plans to reconnect in a few weeks and then she is off. Then Enrico gets a phone call that will change his life forever.

Your heart breaks for them both. We get to read both pov so understand the dynamics however the characters do not. This is an amazing story. It can get stressful at times, tearful, anger, steamy, swoony, and on and on. So many emotions. Can’t wait for more!
