Some really nice passages and vignettes I enjoyed but I didn’t connect with it as much as I expected too. However, a nice respite from my usual grim tone of books.

A wonderful read about the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter and about summer life on an island. The weather and seasons and nature so important too. Gentle and inspiring. Particularly loved the afterwords by the granddaughter.
