The book was okay, but I didn’t find myself hugely invested in the characters or really wanting to pick it up and read lots in one go. 

I found the storyline of Beth and Jory a bit ‘nothingy’, like it had been added for the sake of it as it was so predictable.

Beth was quite a frustrating character, and not really in a likeable way.

This was so sweet 😭 very sad in places but hopeful too. And a lovely story about families and found family. Would have loved a smidge more romance.
