I really loved the art and the angel snark and seeing Fred, it was also that violent edge from the TV show. The villain was a bit cringe.

An interesting spin on Angel's storyline! This volume makes the new Buffyverse make more sense as a whole. The Source (The First) is starting from the beginning of the story to try and win the war before it ever comes to a head.
