I'm hovering somewhere between 3 and 4 stars on this one. It was very much a book of two halves for me. The first half was slow and not gripping, but it did pick up and the last third was so pacy it almost gave me whiplash.
I honestly can't say much more without any spoilers. It's definitely unique and written well. The plot speed wasn't great but there was a lot I liked.

If you knew what the future held, would you still want to follow the same path?
Think Groundhog's Day. Just when it seems like Kate has hit rock bottom, she wakes up and finds that she has a chance to redo 20+ years of her life. With great power, comes difficult decisions. Will Kate fall in love with her husband again? Will she try to save his life or let the cards fall as they are?
This sweet romance gave me the feels and brought up difficult questions. It was almost too much Groundhog's Day for me - done again and again.
Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this and give my honest opinion.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the story of Kate who is widowed quite suddenly She is depressed and feels that there is no point to her life anymore. One night she falls asleep and wakes up as her 18 year old self with the chance to change fate.
For me this book was straight down the middle. There were parts that I loved such as Kate’s strong personality especially with regards to her work. I really wish that the whole of this book was based around her work. I also loved the references when she was talking about our present time. On the other hand there were parts particularly in the first half of the book that I found boring. Time travel is one of my favourite tropes in a book but there are so many more books that do it better.

"They had not divorced. They were together. He had died but now he was alive. Her husband was alive. And she could save him. What was lost could be found. The slightly problem was that he didnt know that he was lost. Katie relaxed back into her pillow. I will play it cool, I'll play it really cool"
Do you ever have a book that you carry around with you because you can't stop reading it?? That's the type of book this one is. I read it in bed, I read it in the bathroom, I balanced it weirdly while heating up food in the kitchen. It was great and addictive and every single page put a smile on my face.
It's the perfect balance of an endearing love story, a far-fetched backwards version of the 13 going on 30 time swap, a Russian spy action film with all of Robert Webb's hilarious dry humour peppered in. YES, IT SOUNDS CRAZY BUT IT WORKS. IT REALLY REALLY WORKS.
Webb really did put his best foot forward with this one. I loved every single second I spent reading it. 5/5.
