The story was awesome, especially if you played the Cyberpunk 2077 Game. The book manages to portray the world of Cyberpunk just like you see it in the Game and Show.
But: WHY would you change the narrative perspective abt once per page. There are scenes where the perspective changes after just 5-5 sentences. For me that made the reading experience much worse since you are constantly busy with thinking abt who is telling you the story atm.

I wanted to love this book. I really did! As a huge fan of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe I thought this book would knock it out the park just like the narrative of the video game and the anime. I listened to this on audiobook and the story lost me quite a few times. For one, there was no way to tell when the scene changed, So I'd find myself having to rewind to understand who was talking and what was actually going on. As far as the ending is concerned, what in the world was that?!

The world building and characters in Cyberpunk 2077 were really interesting and made me super excited to dive deeper into the world and the anime. My major gripe with this book was the wrap up and the ending made. It really felt as if the ending was incredibly rushed, Alberts story felt out of place and was not really wrapped up and Zors storyline felt like an odd wrap up. I am a sucker for an ending that is not the good guy winning but regardless, I thought it could have been done better and left a bad taste in my mouth on an otherwise good book
