Cool book but went on a little too long with a somewhat disappointing ending but still solid

imo to miało lepszy potencjał; jeśli miałabym wybrać miedzy ta książka a cp2077: edgerunners, wybrałabym anime bo tam historia była bardziej wciągająca

This book keeps you endlessly guessing with its twists and turns. In a dystopian cyberpunk world full of ads, extreme poverty, and chromed-up baddies there really is no coincidence.

Arc Copy...only slightly familiar with the world of Cyberpunk 2077, so I was expecting a decent high stakes cyberpunk narrative flair with twists and intrigue abound. I'm happy to say I got it yet curious what absolute fans of the series would think?

Tbh I wasn’t expecting much out of a tie-in novel, so expectations met. It’s not BAD, but it does really have one issue kind of common to tie-in novels - it’s utterly inscrutable without prior understanding of the IP. That’s fine, honestly, because I only picked this up for a little more immersion while prepping my own Cyberpunk campaign, so it accomplished exactly what I was hoping it would. I just wish I had enjoyed the reading experience more; it’s very disjointed, hopping willy-nilly around different perspectives with no warning or context. The plot is interesting if not amazing, but it does fall apart under too much scrutiny. If you’re looking for just “more cyberpunk” after watching the anime or playing the game, it delivers, but if you want anything more you’re out of luck.

A must read for any cyberpunk fan, the world building is descriptive, the characters are well flushed out, and the writing is just as grim as the game that inspired it.
