Mocno średnia, jako osoba, która nie grała ani nie oglądała serialu, a sięgnęła po książkę, bo zapowiadał się dobry napad, jestem raczej rozczarowany. Największym atutem jest tu świat i generalnie cała otoczka, które to nie są w całości dziełem R. Kosika. Postaci są sztampowe, mam wrażenie, że po pierwszym napadzie ich wątki się bardzo rozjeżdżają, a następnie na siłę łączą (poza Albertem, nie wiem czemu on służy, zajmuje się jedynie sobą). Przeszkadzała mi też długość fragmentów w rozdziałach, niektóre wnosiły tak mało, że dziwiłem się, że nie były częścią tych dłuższych, a dziwne, cliffhangerowe zakończenia przemilczę, bo może raz faktycznie mnie pociągnęły do czytania dalej. Zakończenia tragiczne lubię, ale to moim zdaniem zostawiło tylko otwartych spraw i nierozwiązanych pytań, że przez ostatnie 10 stron jeszcze się łudziłem, że dostanę odpowiedź na przynajmniej trzy, cztery z nich, a pytań i teorii można snuć wiele. Ani nie jest to wybitna książka o napadach, ani raczej nie jest must-readem dla osób, którym się Cyberpunk podobał, tak, o, istnieje.
Na koniec - Rozmowa pomiędzy dwoma głównymi kobiecymi postaciami była tak sztuczna, że aż bolała, a kobiety były dziwnie seksualizowane i odnoszę wrażenie, że to nie jest Cyberpunkowy problem

This book is so not good that I feel like it's actively trying to steal my time from me, like it's sapping me of my will to live.
Having played zero minutes of the game this is based off, I can tell you that it's not confusing to find yourself planted in this world. There are confusing aspects to this story, but I think that has more to do with the way it constantly cycles across its cast.
The biggest problem with the book, I think, is that it's not funny at all. Everything becomes a bit monotoned dreary with everything going terribly everywhere. This also causes the characters to sort of bleed together, since there's no added texture to give them some more space and definition in the story.
Anyway, still pretty good. You get exactly what you'd expect from a book with Cyberpunk written prominently on the cover. It's cyberpunk as heck. For better and worse.

This is my first cyberpunk novel I read in my life. And it was amazing! it definitely scratched that cyberpunk inch for me. The characters were relatable and the book did a good job on telling how it's like to be living in night city. It's miserable and oppressive, But a little joy and hope still can be found in some small moments of life.
A solid recommendation to any cyberpunk fan!
P.S. I didn't play the game, but i was still intrigued by the story and plot from start to end, so you don't really need to play the game to have fun reading it.

This is too disjointed! And I can’t connect with any of the characters cause it keeps jumping around.
