Non lo so, non mi è piaciuto. Tante cose vengono date tutte per scontate come se il lettore le sapesse prima di leggere e quindi non si capisce nulla.
Ho apprezzato solo la presenza di tantissimi piccoli paragrafi che dividono i capitoli

Good book but oddly paced. Never fully got used to the frequent character swapping with no indication that a scene was wrapping. And the ending brought me back to those words Johnny told V, “a happy ending? For people like us? Wrong city. Wrong people.”

I loved the way this story was told. I just HAD to keep reading to understand everything and even at the end I was like wait pause I need to figure this out. Then basically re-analyzed everything I just read because that was crazy. Amazing storytelling. I love when authors can actually create a cast where you know everyone’s story (well you think you do) even if there are so many characters. Also I saw that female V narrates the audiobook so now I have to go back and listen to it (which I will very much be doing).

. Still, Kosik is a powerhouse of a writer; every character in the city has their own distinct motivations and priorities, and sometimes those line up in a very heartwarming way and sometimes they clash to devastating effect.
