Great ending for the trylogy. That's all that was needed to be said about this book.

Before reading the rest of this, keep in mind that Ender's Game is my favorite book, so Card gets a lot of lee weigh from me.
That being said, this was awful. And I think I'm done with him. His last several books have followed similar patterns to this series - a great idea, fun characters, an awesome world, all the things he's so good at.
But then. The pontificating starts. Endless conversations about how smart the characters are, or the numerous nuances of this or that science thingy, half of which have zero to do with the actual plot. As several reviews have mentioned about this book in particular, its like the thing was never actually edited for content.
In short, Mr. Card is starting to sound like the old professor that no one has ever bothered to tell he's just ranting. He earned his tenure and all, but it's well worth our time to move on down the hall to the other professors who are just as talented but are still bothering to care about their work.

I can't believe I just quit reading after making it through 2 and a half books in the series. But I was just soooooo bored!

Enjoyed this book the least of the whole series. In my opinion it went downhill from the first one. The ending was pretty anticlimactic and it took a long time to get there. There were long conversations between characters discussing philosophical issues and ramifications of certain time travel trips. This book also had more instances of swearing and even stronger language than the previous ones. Overall, I don't think I would recommend this series.

This book was a long slog, but I hung in to complete the trilogy. Orson Scott Card often has fascinating ideas and his Ender's Game is a favorite of mine, but he is endlessly long winded. He tells you what might happening, what has happened, what characters are thinking, on and on and on - information that is largely self-evident. At half the length, this would have been a much better book.

I was disappointed by what felt like a rushed, not well thought out ending, but this book was more enjoyable and intriguing than the second.
