My Immortal is better than this.

I knew that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child wasn't written by J.K.Rowling, I knew that it wasn't even the final version but a rehearsal edition script - but I still went and bought the book. What had come over me? Did someone use a Confundus Charm on me? If you read the book and felt all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic, I'm truly happy for you. That's how it should be! But I wish I could just say 'Obliviate' and forget all about it. Oh dear.

I just want to marry Scorpius Malfoy.

I will preface this with I don’t like screen plays I just can’t visualize them well.

Now with that said I did see the actual play which admittedly was pretty good, excusing the trolly witch which is a horrible addition to the story and ruined all Emerson for a solid while.
Even though I liked the play I still felt that the screen play just didn’t do it justice.
On top of all of that the cursed child just wasn’t a good addition to the HP universe and I still do not consider it a part of the cannon because it makes very little sense.

For most part, terrible. Very patchy, inconsistent and with huge holes indicating a severe disconnect with what we know of the magical world created by Rowling in her first seven books. Not one to sit in my bookshelf.
