3,5/5. Заинтересовало, продолжу читать дальше. Порой немного черезчур гиберболизируются некоторые ситуации ( что, в общем-то, типично для манги, но мне режет глаз), однако что-то в этом сёнене определённо есть. Хотя я ожидала что завязка и мотивация героя будут основаны на другом факторе, что наверное пришлось бы мне больше по душе, но что уж тут.

En realidad es una re lectura, andaba con ganas de reírme un rato y al mismo tiempo leer algo livianito.. y nada mejor para reirse que las aventuras del pelirrojo Hanamichi Sakuragi.

Un manga divertido, lleno de graciosas escenas, ideal para los amantes del basket. Sakuragi es un chico que comienza la preparatoria Alta y que ha tenido muchos fracasos amorosos, la cosa parece cambiar cuando conoce a Haruko Akagi pero... al parecer al pobre nunca se le da...

En este primer tomo conoceremos a Hanamichi y sus amigos, Haruko y los miembros del equipo de básquet (al menos a la mayoría) y nuestro pelirrojo amigo deberá aprender lo básico antes de hacer un Slam Dunk

As someone who isn't into sports AT ALL I wondered if I would enjoy this manga. I kept hearing how great it was and the comedic elements reviewers promised drew me in. I'm happy I decided to give it a chance! I really enjoyed the first volume and adored the first 30 color pages. I wish all manga would give us that beauty! Immediately will be jumping into volume two. I suggest non sports fans pick this up - you'll like it even if you don't care about basketball!

I like it, really like it.
Find the story really funny and interesting...but the main character he is a little annoying and doesn't listen, also I don't like the fact that he only cares about basketball because of a girl kinda makes me upset, but, I still really like it and recommend it.

I was at the library with my niece for Baby Story Time for the first time in a year and it looked nice. They had book covers painted on ceiling tiles and widened their young adult/ manga section. They were twenty books in the Slam Dunk series and I chose to pick up the first five. I had never read a manga written by a man before and I know virtually nothing about basketball. I had zero expectations and it was a fun ride. The first 50 pages were done with red and black inking because the main character was a ginger. He was over 6 feet tall and had broad shoulders: babe status. It was funny and I can't wait to see what else this series has to offer. It's a nice change of pace from all the frilly mangas I've read in the past with minimal drama this time. I'm looking at you, Peach Girl! I may watch the anime in tandem but who knows if I have time for that. I'm taking my layup shot with this first installment and I'm ready for a slam dunk!
