Solid, but unexceptional. The main guy is a bully who tries out for basketball to impress a girl. There's some fighting, some romantic misunderstandings, and some basketball - if I were more of a basketball fan, maybe I'd be more interested. But it all feels pretty standard. Not bad at all, mind you. I'd say it's the equivalent of a Gail Simone or Chuck Dixon superhero comic - hits all the notes you expect and want, but doesn't exceed any of them.
