I ADORE THIS SERIES WITH ALL MY HEART. THE BOYS ARE PRECIOUS AND LOVELY AND UGH I POSITIVELY LOVE CL STONE AND HER WRITINGS
You know when you read a series or book and you just know that it will stick with you forever. That is the Ghost Bird Series by CL Stone for me. I read this series when I was 17 going on 18 and I am 22 now and this series has still stayed in my heart. This was also the first romance book series that I read and it changed the course of my life.
This is an RH slow burn romance, and when I say slowburn, I mean slowburn. But it's the best slow burn imaginable and honestly you don’t even realize that Sang has not kissed anyone because of all the conflict and drama.
There is honestly so much conflict in this series that my head spins. Plus the guys are so swoon worthy, the things they say makes me squeal and makes me so flustered.
I love the plot, characters, and the mystery. Who is after the Sang and her guys? I swear there is so much that happens in this series that I could not possibly explain all of it.
Sang is unique and all of her guys are unique and different yet they all have one thing in common, Family first which is one of the reasons I adore this series.
I will forever re-read this series and cherish these characters. They are special to me. So far I’ve read and reread books 1 through 12 and I cannot wait to read books 13 and 14 and the other 6 books when CL Stone releases them. Oh Yes, this is a long series.

Stayed up till 4am to finish this. Finally had her first kiss— book 6. Not with who I expected AT ALL!
Hm. . . Hmm! I don't know how I feel about this book. I'm annoyed with Sang several times and still sort of am. I'm finding her naive-ness to be annoying when at first she was enduring. The only reason I kept reading was North, Gabriel and Dr Green. Will I continue? Most likely. But I will be skimming through most of these book. I did a lot with this one! :/ 2.5 stars

This is my favorite of the Ghost Bird series so far! And I'll tell you why.
I know many of you are like me, have waited anxiously to see how far the Academy boys would push Sang, and how much Sang would take control of the situation (sexually and romentically). Now, if you haven't read any of the books by C.L. Stone, a little warning, this isn't your typical romance, there are 9 boys and one girl in this series. Mind you though, this is a Young adult genre.
Finally! What most (well me) of us have been waiting for, the romances between Sang and each of the Academy boys have finally advance in this book. When I said "each", I mean all of them. How excited! Not to mention Sang also mature quite a lot in this book as well, I don't mind the boys spoil/baby Sang, but I am happy to see Sang grow a little more independent.
For those of you have read Thief from the Scarab Beetle series, there are definitely many crossover moments in this book.
Dangerous drugs are spreading in Ashley Waters High School, with the Academy boys and Sang's help, the truth are slowly reveal. There are three key players in the scheme of Ashley Waters High School, dirty money, drugs and bombs?! I felt really bad for Sang in Push and Shove, she suffered quite a lot in this book. One was particularly disturbing and I was not happy the boys wasn't more aware and hadn't protected Sang from the trauma.
I am glad Sang's living situation has resolved, it should be interesting to see how Sang's new living arrangement would turn out. Especially with certain boy's "feeling". How will this affect the Academy boys, Sang and the Family?
Oh boy, the sexual tension was thick in this book. I love every alone moment of Sang and each of the boy (especially my favorite academy boy North). Because the way Sang grow up, Sang doesn't know what she want from the boys most of the time. Lust is something she doesn't really understand, she know she wants more from the boys, but was unable to express her feelings. The boys have become distracted because of Sang as well, all due to a certain rule they have all agreed. I was getting impatient and wish someone would just kiss Sang already! (Spoiled alarm) Sang had her first kiss in Push and Shove! And it was not whom I thought it would be. And boy, he didn't wasted any time.
We learn that not all the boys have a "safe" or "ideal' living situation, on the contrary, most of the boys have a rather hostile relationship with their parents. I was quite surprised by this, because I've thought the Academy have helped each of the boy at this point.
I love that we got to know more about Dr. Green and Mr. B. It was fun to see how these two interact with each other. It was interesting to see how Sang craves approval from Mr. B.
Sang have grow stronger in Push and Shove, her relationship with the boys have also strengthen in this book. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next book!
My No.1 Academy boy from the Ghost Bird series: North
Happy reading! XO
