It was okay but a little bit sexist. It didn't help that most of the women were called "lady" and "damsel". I recommend that younger kids read this one because it seems a little dummed down in both language and content.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I can see why it was a classic. Full of magic, romance, and heartbreak. A+ would read again.

Roger Lancelyn Green renders in simplified but poetic style most of the major legends of King Arthur and his many Knights. Beautifully poetic and full of adventure and daring-do. What lifts the book up though is the finale; an existential darkness weighs on the narrative as Sir Mordred begins his plots that leads to the fall of Arthur’s kingdom. Much beauty to be had here.

This was a great overview of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I would definitely recommend this book if you are interested in knowing more about Arthurian legend. Happy Reading :)
