So, there was talk that this was a super quick read. They're right. This one can easily be read in a day, and honestly most people are probably not going to want to put it down after starting! It's a really fun story and the extra chapters added to this novella duology edition do great things for the story. I really enjoyed reading West and Olivia's story, and I'm super excited that this story has not only been improved, but has also become the first in a duology to include her sister's story as well! I'm excited to see how that turns out!

Christian romance novella was very cheesy but cute. I’m willing to try a full novel by this author that hopefully doesn’t rely so heavily on tropes since it will be longer and have more substance.
Cute and quick read
It was such a lovely book. I love that it was a fun romance book that still kept God in the forefront.

Challenge Prompt: CNL’s #37 of 50 — “by an author whose name begins with T”
Book #18 of 2024: This was a new-to-me author recommended by Author Latisha Sexton.
I really enjoyed this story. It has a Cinderella vibe to it. Perhaps it is a bit of a stretch in places but that’s okay! It is a dreamy story that any girl with a heart can appreciate. I like the back story and the main characters. Some people do leave indelible imprints on our lives and that is definitely the case with these two.
My only real ‘con’ for this book is that it is too short. About another hundred pages would be been great. I would love to read the entire story more fleshed out and less hurried. It would make a really good story even better! There are so many great moments and several quotes that I highlighted.
I look forward to book 2 and reading more from this author.

This is a sweet story overall- I loved the faith of all the characters interwoven into the story, that was done well. Some aspects of the story were pretty unbelievable but I don’t know if that’s typical with a billionaire love story. Someone called it a modern Christian fairytale and I could see that. For some reason the writing felt much more natural towards the end of the book, the beginning was a little clunky. I also disliked that the protagonist, Olivia suffers from feeling like she’s not enough to the point where her choices don’t make sense but somehow all of that changes overnight. The idea behind the story is great, as I said the faith of all the characters is believable and I think is written well- the other things just need tweaking. I’d give the next book in the series a chance.
