Such a sweet story about family, forgiveness, being true to yourself, and finding peace. I so want this story made into a movie or at least a limited series.
I loved every page of this book! I wish I could sit in that cafe and have a slice of blackbird pie!

All I could think while reading this book is that Wicklow, Alabama is the Stars Hollow of the south. And as I adore Gilmore Girls, this story about mamas and daughters, death, guilt, forgiveness, and some folksy magic was right up my alley. A cozy (somewhat convenient and predictable) read that left the fluttering heart satisfied at the end.

I just really enjoyed this. Small town? Cafe? A little bit of magic? Sold.
"All of you will always be in my heart. And part of me will be in yours. That's a damn good legacy if you ask me."
This book is like a giant warm embrace - an ode to all of the different kinds of love in life and the different ways they show up. A mix of melancholy, magic, and hope. Truly a beautiful book that was AMAZING as an audiobook. The ending was a bit cheesy, but I'll forgive it for happy the book made me.
What I loved:
- Small town
- Found family
- Magic and hope
- Blackberry pie, blackberry sweet tea
- Small-town movie nights
"A person you love is never truly gone. They're always there. Whether its in a memory or a dream or in your heart."

I would very much like this sweet little book to become a series. There’s more to unfold here.
This reminded me of a Hallmark movie and I was totally here for it. Maybe it was just the right book at the right time. I found it delightful.
Cute, small town romance. Really enjoyed the magical elements. Wished the romance was a little bit more of a priority—felt like an afterthought.
Had me tearing up at every other page! Sweet book about love, loss, anger, and grief.
